The Total Access 1500 4W FXS Access Module is intended to be deployed in the Total Access 1500 Chassis.

The 4W FXS provides for one individual 4-wire analog interface between a VF transmission and signaling facility and the Total Access 1500 Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) backplane.

Each FXS interface provides for simultaneous four-state signaling in each direction for use with 4-wire off-premises extension, carrier extended PBX trunks, or subscriber line foreign exchanges using ground or loop start signaling system.
